Music & Me Music Camp

Objective

The camp will create a fresh set of opportunities for orchestra members to explore their skills, e.g. teamwork, team-building, leadership and interactive skills, whilst also providing a different, refreshing nvironment to have fun with music; a warmer, relaxed atmosphere to develop members' relationships and further knit the members of the orchestra togather.

Camp Highlights

• Singing - Learning the Kodaly hand sign, singing in harmony, singing in round & basic choir experience
• Folk Dancing - Children learn formation of dance steps & form
• Drama & Music - Incorporating music using xylophone, metallophone, glockenspiel, marimba, percussion & 'caklempung' which is a traditional musical instrument
• World Music - Learning different music culture, Explore percussions & rhythms around the world
• Performance
